Club of the Year

The Branch first organised a Club of the Year competition in 2019, with the first winner being the Bob Carter Centre at Drayton.

Clubs can be nominated at any time, by emailing the Clubs Officer on clubs@norwich.camra.org.uk.

A panel will visit all the nominated clubs in the early months of the year, to score them using the national judging criteria, with the winner being the club with the highest overall score. If you’d like to be part of the panel, please email the Clubs Officer.

The winner goes forward to the Norfolk Club of the Year competition, and further rounds if successful.

Current Branch Club of the Year

The Aylsham Social Club is Branch Club of the Year 2024.
The club has a pub-style bar and separate function room, serving three ales. The building is an old boys school, and carvings on the bricks go back to the 18C.
