The Good Beer Guide is CAMRA’s flagship publication, containing details of the best 4,500+ pubs in the country, and all UK breweries.
It was first published in 1972, as a loose-leaf collection of 18 pages, but now packs in around 900 tightly-bound pages, arranged (since 2023) by region.
Pubs are selected by CAMRA branches, who each have an allocation – Norwich & District’s allocation is currently 57.
This year there are two options for the cover – either the Rover’s Return, from Coronation Street, or the Woolpack, from Emmerdale, with both available from the CAMRA Shop and in other bookstores, and online as a web app.
