The 2022 Festival re-introduced music, but on a reduced scale, with bands playing in Blackfriars Hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For the first time, tickets for the Trade Session and all public sessions were sold online, using CAMRA’s new Tckty system. This saved a huge amount of work processing applications and posting tickets, and meant that we could lift the minimum group size restrictions, and continue selling tickets right up to the Festival.
The break between sessions was shortened, and with lunchtime sessions extended from 2.30pm to 3pm, and evening sessions starting at 5pm instead of 5.30pm. To compensate, the evening sessions earlier in the week closed earlier, at 10pm Monday and Tuesday, and 10.30pm on Wednesday.
