The 43rd Festival ran from Monday 25th October – Saturday 30th October, in both St Andrew’s and Blackfriars Halls.
The Festival returned in 2021, orgainsed by Craig Harmer and his deputies, Chris Rouse, Sandy Gooch. Despite a surge in COVID infections in early October and with massive uncertainty regarding attendance, the organisers focused on reducing fixed costs, by increasing the proportion of local brewery beers, and asking the breweries to supply a percentage of their orders as Sale or Return.
For the first time, there was no music, and the beer order was reduced significantly, from around 800 firkins in 2019 to around 600. Beers were arranged alphabetically by brewery across both Blackfriars and St Andrew’s halls, as the increased volume of Norfolk beer would no longer fit in Blackfriars.
Admission was free for CAMRA members, and charges for for non-members.
The programme and beer list was free, but donations were accepted for the Branch charity, can be viewed below download it here.
