Beer Breweries Pubs & Clubs

Date for Norwich Pub Survey announced

Written by Ian

Every year since 2011 (plagues permitting!) Norwich & District CAMRA aim to visit every pub in Norwich on one day, to record the real ales available. This year the Survey will take place on Saturday July 29th between pub opening time and about 5pm.

Volunteers, often in small groups, take on the challenge of visiting around half a dozen pubs and recording the real ales, ciders & perries available at each, as well as the craft keg beers. Drinking one of the available beverages is optional but widely practised!

This information is especially useful now, as following the pandemic pubs have generally reduced their beer range, and this is not always reflected in the pubs’ WhatPub entries.

If you’d like to help, and are able to visit a few pubs and deliver the results to our HQ at the Leopard in Bull Close Road, please email pubsurvey@norwich.camra.org.uk, and let us know if you have any preferences for the area of Norwich to survey. We try to give each group a good mix of pubs, and you’ll get a free pint (conditions apply!) when you deliver your results!
