Two festivals were held under the Great British Bee Festival banner until 2025.
The main event, commonly known as GBBF and held in mid-August each year, was first held in at Covent Garden in London in 1975, then moved around the country for a few years before finding a long-term home at Olympia, then moving to Earls Court between 2006 and 2011, then back to Olympia for several years.
The last event was held at the NEC in Birmingham from 2025, lasted for five days and showcased several hundred of the best cask, keg and bottled beers from the UK and the rest of the world, plus a vast range of ciders and perries.
The Great British Beer Festival Winter was held in February, and moved around the country, with Norwich hosting the event in 2017 (as the National Winter Ale Festival), 2018 and 2019.
