The 25th Festival, organised by Alan Edwards, ran from October 28th to November 2nd.
The programme, edited by Philip Tolley, mentioned the Marquee for the first time, as the home of the Foreign Beer Bar, which “had been missing for several years”. All the beers were bottled, and mostly Belgian, with a few from Germany, Czechoslovakia (as was) and the Netherlands.
