The 2001 Festival ran from October 22nd-27th was organised by Alan Edwards, and featured a number of beers from Wales and the West.
The programme, which ran to 60 pages, and included a quiz, articles on the future of the freehouse by Colin Keatley of the recently-opened Fat Cat, cider by the sea at Whin Hill, and Branch social events from Social Secretary Wendy Parker, as well as a guide to beer styles.
Lunchtime session prices increased from 50p to £1, and the Saturday party night was £6, up from £5.
