The Branch organised the national CAMRA AGM in the Halls from Friday 6th – Sunday 8th April. Official business was held in St Andrew’s Hall and a Beer Festival was held in Blackfriars Hall, where over 30 ales from East Anglia were available. Pubs in the City also took part.
The Rosary pub featured Pitfield and Premier beers, The Bystander Club had a selection of Manchester beers, The Reindeer had their full range of beers including their excellent stout and a new mild, and the St Andrews Tavern had a Welsh weekend.
The Branch and Batemans organised a pub trail around the City, on offer was a night in Wainfleet and a tour of the brewery. Batemans mild was available at the Reindeer, White Lion, Pottergate Tavern, St Andrews Tavern, Bystanders and XXXB at the Rosary and Jubilee.
